But seriously, I'm moving it either to the other side of the bathroom or at least several inches over. Unless someone convinces me I've lost my mind. I really want to rip it out and start fresh. I was told by an RV repair guy that pulling a toilet out (which I am *surely* going to do) would most likely require replacing the black water tank. Anyone know if that's true?
NO! That is not true. You may no longer have a direct drop into the black tank but adding an elbow will not cause a problem. If you really need to move the toilet more than a few inches you could replace the toilet with one that uses forced air or a macerator to get the deposits to the correct location without any tank modifications. Take a look at a headhunter toilet if necessary but there are many options.
