While I wait on a plumber, I'm trying to figure out the best way to do doors to the bathroom and bedroom.
The floor-to-ceiling height of the bathroom doorway is 6' 6." I want to do either a pocket door or barn door, and I'm researching what kind of header and hardware would take up the least space. The standard pocket door track and hardware seems to take at least 4" (like
Johnson Hardware's product. By contrast,
this barn door hardware looks more compact. But I'm not sure that's an ideal door for a bathroom.

As for the bedroom door, it's a ridiculous 6' 2" (the ceiling height).
