Mike, I have an awning tearing and I used the advice of the guys call RVgeeks. I found an after market top that is wonderful and it is so much better than OEM. replacement is fairly easy as long as you follow the didoes and have two people doing it. fileing the corner of the tube and putting tape on it so it doesn't tear the new awning and now is the best time to use baby powder on the slide out seals. there is a video showing how to do that too. even if you never have done this before you can do it in an hours time. we just kept the lap top close by so we could follow the video step by step.
