Sliding dual 30 pound tanks.
I have a 2011 MCI D4500 and currently have dual 20 pound tanks. The mount is solid so to get to the back tank I have to move stuff and reach around the front tank.
I would like to upgrade to dual 30 pound tanks and mount it on something like slides rack. The tanks full are about 50 to 60 pounds each. My bay is only 29” tall, but with 23.5” tall tanks it should not be a problem.
When I search for "sliding rack heavy duty" I come up with computer rack mount stuff. They are about 19” wide and about 30” deep and from 200 to 300 pound weight capacity. I would go with the heaver unit, but unsure about how it would hold up long term. I know I would have to mount it with some angle iron.
Anyone have any suggestions or know of a better approach to this?
