Sliding table mod
DW has always disliked the dinettes in our TTs, so the new (to us) one has a free-standing table and chairs. But the table was right up against the wall and awkward for the person(s) next to the wall...

Nice modification there.
Our free standing table was screwed into the floor. I wanted to turn it so with the slides in, there would be easier passage between the table and the sink peninsula. But that meant 2 chairs had to be removed. No problem, there was only 2 of us anyway. I could have removed the screws completely and not anchored it back down. Then we could have moved it anywhere, any time. Decided to keep it screwed down, just turned 90 degree, so it had good stability.
After a while, we realized the table was just a glorified place to feed the cat so the dog would not eat the cat food, and it was noting but a catch all for every bit of junk we had in the camper and then some.
We took the table completely out, and the last 2 chairs and replaced everything on that slide out with a stand alone, normal household, recliner style, 3 seater couch. Have not missed the table at all, and the cat food got moved to a different spot, and we don't have the junk piled up any more.
Works for us.
