There are fans designed to operate off your camper battery for both inside the fridge and outside. Just do a google search for RV refrigerator cooling fans. Both fans are 12 vdc and are of the computer style fan. I have installed both types on our last camper and they worked as advertised. They come with mounting hardware as well.
