Soap Dispenser

We put one of these in two years ago and never have taken it off the wall. Works great. Also bought one for hand soap at bathroom sink. We love them. Bought them both at HD for around $40.

Home Depot also carries those soap dispensers. FWIW

I bought a unit like this at CW before our last trip of over 5,000 miles. I did not use the attaching tape and silicon per recommendations. I use a 3M tape, double sided, red, from Home Depot that I have used at work to hold signs on buildings. The three dispenser unit works perfectly and I know the tape will hold up in the shower for years. The dispenser attaches to a mounting unit so I can lift the dispenser up to remove it. The entire unit works great and we did not have any problems at all with it. The only problem I have now is I apparently need to buy three more to hold all the shampoo and conditioners my wife thinks she needs. I hoped to get around the bottles all over the floor but I just must not understand the need for multiple shampoos. Otherwise the unit dispenses just fine. About three pumps for shampoo and the same for body wash.

The shampoo is pretty thick, had to prime the pump three times but it works well, may take about 3-4 pumps to get the desired volume I need. I am thinking about getting one for the kitchen in the TT and now my shower at home.

I found my DH liked the bars because he said he could never get the liquid to lather up. I introduced him to my nylon scrubby that I hang in the shower on a suction cup hook. Dispense liquid soap onto the scrubby and go to town. Lathers and removes the dead itchy skin cells too. I haven't had any problems with mine dispensing yet. So far have used Zest liquid soap and cheap Sauve hair care products.

I installed a similar product that performs very poorly. You don't get enough soap or shampoo, even after pumping 10 or 20 times. I quit using it. How does this one perform in that regard? Do you have to use thinner soap/shampoo?
