I had a 185 watt panel that was on a portable stand. I ran a 50 foot cord from it to a controller and then into the batteries. I would move the panel a couple of times a day to keep it pointed at the sun. With 2 group 31 batteries I was able to dry camp for 10 days at a time without using the generator. I did have LED lights and was careful with electrical usage, but I also ran a CPAP at night. It can be done!
Good luck Bill
