Why a combiner box? Just adds more failure points. Just use MC4 cable direct to controller.
Add the other two panels in series as time and money permit.
I think your #8 to the controller is more than needed. #10 s/b fine. And I would step up the 15' battery connection to #4. I would use the battery voltage sense connection with that distance.
