There is nearly no difference in cost between the Magnum 2800 and the Magnum hybrid 3000 watt units.
If your needs can be met by a 400 watt MSW inverter that is the way to go.
My needs can't be met by a tiny inverter, as I run nearly 100% electrically, even when boondocking (except for fridge). So I want to be able to run the microwave and the induction cooker at the same time.

Exactly my point. You need utility power or smallish generator to use the features.
Without such it is just another inverter for extra money.
