Your spring routine is my fall routine. I typically don't camp in the summer since campgrounds are too crowded for a single man with all the kids grown and doing their own things.
I'm southern California so
I drain all the tanks after every trip. I'm typically out of fresh water anyway as I try to time my usage to my length of stay.
But every fall I'll
Drain anything left in the fresh tank. Drain the water heater. Refill the system with water and bleach (~1/4 cup or 50ml per 10 gallons water)
Run water pump until the water heater is full and all the faucets and toilet have been run for about 15 seconds each. Top up fresh tank and let system sit and soak overnight.
Sometimes I get on the roof to inspect. But since most joints are eternabonded I don't spend a lot of time at this.
Inspect the tires for damage and air them up.
Check battery water levels and run the propane through all the lines starting with the stove\oven and ending with the refrigerator.
In the morning I flush the fresh water system at least two times and I'm ready to go camping.
