I am not sure what i am doing wrong here.... I have a class c thor motorhome... I thought it would be nice to be able to watch TV when we are dry camping and since the RV doesnt come with an inverter ...

No matter what inverter you use, you will have to upgrade the wire to the inverter. That means from the power source (battery) to the entertainment cabinet also.
Don't waste money on another inverter until you upgrade the wiring.
