Uphill tank system
I've been looking on camping world and other places. Can anyone suggest a good system to pump uphill 75 feet at a slight incline.

- You need to know the elevation difference between the RV and the final dumping point. The 75 feet horizontal is not the issue but the height may be. Most macerator or chopper type pumps capable of pumping solids or waste do not handle head well.

The OP already said in his first post - "uphill 75 feet at a slight incline" ... how much clearer can that be? A FloJet Waste Macerator will handle this task just fine.- I'd say it's between 5-10 feet uphill.
- It will do it , within reason the larger the hose the easier , in otherr words do not use a 1/2 inch hose .
- don't go to large on the hose, the larger you go, the lower the velocity of the fluids, and solids will start dropping out. Get enough and even though the pump is on, you will get a clog.

Solids? What solids? :h The FloJet Waste Macerator does just that, macerates solids so there are none, just "water". I've been using my FloJet for 9 yrs now, 50 foot 3/4" hose, no issues whatsoever, wouldn't ever service my tanks any other way. After a few minutes of flushing this is what comes out of my black water tank -
- The FloJet chops the solids into smaller pieces but there are still solids that will settle out. Run it into a cup or bowl and you sill see.
And "slight incline" doesn't mean a hill of beans. Is slight a 1% incline, 2% ? Without knowing the height difference over that 75 feet you can't say whether it will work or not. How is that for "clear"? And I also own and use a FloJet. bluefever02 wrote:

This British ad for the FloJet Waste Macerator indicates maximum head is 6 metres, or ~ 19.5' so as I said earlier you'd be fine pumping up your "slight" incline of 5' to 10' using 75' of 3/4" discharge hose.- Based on my experience with a FloJet, it will handle the rise/distance. Use plenty of extra water if you have a source available.
