What kind of studs/rafters in roof for solar
I have a 08 cardinal forest river 5th wheel 30LE with 2 slides. I'm putting some solar panels on the roof, but don't know if I have metal or wood studs. I want to screw in to the studs. Thanks for any...

You could drill a small diameter hole where you wish to locate a mount. That should tell you if they are metal or wood. My rafters were wood but I used #12 sheet metal screws to attach the mounts so I would have been using the same fasteners in either case.
