Yes I have a main breaker too. But that main breaker will cut off all power to the converter with watever is plugged to the TT 30 amp cord.
So what breaker does your converter have that mine does not? What are you turning off?
My last 2 trailers had a main breaker (30 AMP) and also 4 or 5 smaller breakers that were labelled for things like "water heater" or "Converter". Turn off your breakers one at a time to see which one powers your converter - if that breaker doesn't power anything very important then you found an easy way to turn off the converter.
