Yes I have a main breaker too. But that main breaker will cut off all power to the converter with watever is plugged to the TT 30 amp cord.
So what breaker does your converter have that mine does not? What are you turning off?
My trailer has a box with four breakers for the converter, microwave, air conditioning and outlets. when on the converter powers the DC side and charges the battery. It is on if we are plugged into shore power or a generator, off if we are plugged into the inverter and solar.
If you list the model of converter you have, someone here may know how it is shut off.
