Sorry but most if not all panels have a main breaker. This is 30 amp. If I turn that off no power goes to the convertor.
All the other breakers distribute the 120v to all other areas of camper.
Please tell me or post a pic of how you are plugging an invertor to your shore plug and what breaker you are turning off???
There is really know way to do it unless you backfeed the panel and then flip off the main...
