When living in Pinellas Co. Fl, we had out Home Tank pumped.
The home we had was in the middle of what once was a Orange orchard.
The Honey Truck owner remembered the area well. He told me that before the late 1960's it was common practice for all honey trucks to spread their load in the commercial orchards. They would drive in and slightly open their valves and drive around until empty. The orchard owners loved the free fertilizer and the honey truck did not gave to pay the government for disposal. All oranges from Fl. had been federalized for decades that way.

Long story, I'll spare you all the details. Bout a 50 gal blue drum, put it in the bucket of a tractor, used the macerator pump to put the contents of the black tank into the drum. Drove the tractor over by the sewer, removed man hole cover and took plug out of drum.

Ya gotta do what ya gotta do! If I had to do it with a bucket, I would do it with a bucket. Jim

I have a FREE 5 gallon jug from a car wash. Just ask and I am sure they will give them to you.

Back on the farm where I grew up. We had a straw berry bed over the leach bed. Them straw berry plants did very well.

I used to do that, but I couldn't afford a bucket, so I just used a paper 12 ounce beer cup. It took a lot of trips, but if you hadn't drank too much of the beer, it worked OK.

Macerator into a barrel in the truck and then used the macerator again from the barrel at the dump station.

Don't believe I want to try milk jugs, or garbage bags, or fifty gallon drums. :)Our capacity is 45 gallons on black, I think, and 60 on gray.
Don't even want to try a honey wagon. It gets that full drive it to dump station or have a commercial outfit pump it, if it is a large rv park.

I do, and have for years. :B I have a set of inexpensive 7 gal Reliance Aquatainers labeled for grey / black water use only ... grey water I simply off load into the Aquatainers by gravity, taking ~ 8 minutes to fill each 7 gal 'Tainer. I could speed up the process by pumping it but I'm not in a hurry when camping so gravity is fine.

Long ago I invested in a FloJet Waste Macerator Pump so I could empty / service my grey and black water tanks at home after each trip but I can also use it while camping to off load macerated contents of the black tank into those same Aquatainers sitting in the back of my truck, ready for run to the campground dump station for disposal at my convenience. With our trailer having a 30 gal black water holding tank I find this rarely necessary but the option is always available and certainly beats striking camp so I can drag the entire trailer to the dump station or even have to call for honey wagon service, which is rarely an option where we camp anyway. Yes, the Aquatainers are inexpensive, no the pump is not, but in 10 years I've now used it literally hundreds of times without ever having to line up at a campground dump station or struggle with a stinky slinky so it's l-o-n-g ago paid for itself in convenience and I wouldn't ever consider servicing my waste tanks any other way. :B
