You just might be a "modder" if . . . .

-- you love the smell of Three in One Oil.

-- you love the smell of WD-40.

-- you can’t decide which one you like better.

-- your day job is behind a desk but your hands are rough, and black crud is always caught under your fingernails.

-- you’d rather be in your workshop than watching TV.

-- when something in your RV needs fixing, you are secretly glad because now you have another project to work on.

-- your stick house is looking a little neglected and out of date but your RV isn’t.

-- you have a torque wrench and you know how to use it.

-- you get excited when you go to the hardware store and discover that the folks at Gorilla have come out with yet another overpriced adhesive product.

-- the only thing better than an RV-related project is an RV-related project that uses scrap materials that you have squirreled away for years, "just in case."

OK, your turn!!

  • If...
-You know you have that squirreled away scrap piece but have so many you can't find it
    - You have more invested in tools than food, clothing, and shelter combined
-You are looking forward to buying a new tool
-You are unable to stop on a project, even if you've been on it all day and it's dark
-You have a lot of projects started and not many finished
-You completely redo a project because it just wasn't good enough
  • You actually like it when the DW complains about something because it gives you a chance to "make it better".
  • Sorry but I've never heard the term "modder" before. I've heard rodder used but maybe I've been livin in this cave too long.
