05 WW FS2600 rear hitch

Question

Hey guys,

Still pulling my old WW. Have a trip scheduled and want to take my RZR, and (2) beach cruisers. Have any of you welded a receiver to the rear bumper of your trailer? The bumper on mine is just thin enough that I wonder if additional support is needed.

When I added a hitch on my last traile I had my buddy weld square tube from the Frame and then the hitch off of that.

Our 2005 FS2600 couldn't support its own self without repairs from the factory. It was solid after the frame fix, but I wouldn't have added more stress like another hitch. I wouldn't do it.

Always hook a hitch to the frame. Not that thin piece of metal.
