I load my 12ft kayak into fiver, without any assistants or stress. Place 2x4 foot carpet in doorway of fiver. Raise front of kayak into doorway onto carpet. Lift rear of kayak/cart and push into trailer on an angle. Kayak will slide on carpet. Position kayak and gently close slides. Place carpet, cushions and pillows to protect cabinets. Kayak travels on cart so it is easy to position and unload. (The only time the kayak loading requires strength is when the cart wheels leave the ground going into the trailer).
Kayak cart is milk crate, 1/4 inch plywood, thin wall 4 inch pvc pipe, with one tie-down strap. All pieces are held together with large zip ties. Cart will effortlessly go thru narrow doorways. Jack stand was for picture and is not used.
