I don't understand it when people say, "didn't even notice the trailer." I've towed literally 100s of thousands of miles in dozens of trucks with every kind of trailer and if I have a trailer I notice it. Even a 2000lb cargo trailer you can feel with a 600hp truck. Or at least you should be able to feel it or something is wrong.

    Very true...

    Agreed!
  • Paul C has said it perfectly....it's all relative. Yes, I knew the trailer was there, but compared to my 2500 SRW...it was so much smoother, the truck wasn't being pushed by the trailer....Give me a break.

About the truck, a good friend bought a new 3500 high country the other day. It is an amazing truck. Pulls really, really hard for being stock. Congratulations on a nice rig.

It's simply an anology people use. Don't take it so seriously. I'm sure he knew it was there.
  • I have seen several rv's and trucks that the driver didn't know it was there but the scrapes and dents proved he didn't. I also know that comment is an example .

  • Ok, I have a Chevy 3500 Duramax DRW and 5th wheel, now on asphalt yea rides like a dream BUT concrete that's another story, I definitely know it's behind me then. Need a kidney transplant after a lot of concrete freeway
