I agree its a temporary fix. But it's going to take time to find a new one.

Yeah your off the beaten path in that area. Very laid back.
I'm familiar with cutting off the old spindle and welding a new one on. I bought a used tandem axle 34' GN equipment trailer/8k axles. I did the trailer inspection before being put in commercial service and found both right side axle stubs had been cut off a new ones welded on. I had a big rig spring shop in my area that did all my trailers frame/suspension repair. They found both stubs way out of alignment. If I had a new axle stub welded back on it would be to get me on down the road to find new axle assys.

If possible. I would stay with Young's welding. They have worked with Nuwa for years. We had them put spacers on our coach for more bed clearance with our new truck.

The service department is first rate too. I stop by once a year with a list of glitches and upgrades. They don't even blink at projects that would be major for most local dealers. After a few weeks in the Utah desert, I dropped my FW off one morning and picked it up after lunch with a second AC.

If you have a problem around SE Kansas just head for Chanute.

PS: Young's built Nuwa's frames for decades. They are neighbors.

Says something about Nu-Wa's customer service....them being able to point you in the right direction on your unit.

The drums, brakes and axles on my 2011 are from Dexter.

Spindle's ruined so I pulled the axle. Nuwa says to contact Young's welding in Chanute.

I have called them several times for info and suggestions. They've always been very helpful. Perhaps they have what you need on hand. If not I'm sure they'll know who does.
