After reading all the other post and your response, I Defindantly think 4-6V battery bank and a 200watt Solar Power is the way to go. Go on amazon a look at Renogy dealer. For 400$ you could have a 200w to 300w setup with a controller, then about 15yrs of Sun power going to your batteries...Yes there are other solar power panels and contollers out there, But its a system that works well for its cost..I didnt want to put holes in my roof either,but with the roof sealer and the use of their brackets for the panels,no leaks and run the cable down the Frig vent or as I did the bathrm sink vent and through a half inch hole I drilled into the pipe just before it came to the sink and sealed with a sealer..Search it ...you can Still carry your Gen for the AC or Micro and just for the rainny week,
