You are correct the fridge is not in the slide.
--- There is no vent on the roof. The only thing near the top of the fridge area on the roof are the gray & black vent pipes. I went up and looked. I have communicated with other Carriage owners who have the same issue. I think I may call the Manufacture of our fridge and see what they say.
Installing a vent seems like a big job!
I did try the Carriage Forum and nobody responded.
