It makes a person wonder of it's worth putting in a 5er hitch on such a close setup. You might be OK. Before going to that trouble, I'd check the (total) payload weight and see if the tires and axle ratings are OK. I was that close or maybe a hair over on my last SRW, which was rated 10,500 towing, and I hated the tire (LR E 3042 lb) squirming on corners. If payload figures are good, you might want to look into higher range tires on the truck. I'm right at the limit or a little over on my dually (14500 rated) but the duals are SOOO much more stable, I can't believe it's at the limit already. My dually, at the towing limit, handles every bit as good as when the SRW was pulling a smaller 5er and 2500 lbs under the tow rating. Craig
