Check the pin weight and other ratings to make sure you are OK with the fully loaded trailer but otherwise, it's perfectly fine to run at the full ratings.
Yes, a diesel version will beat you in a drag race but unless you plan on drag racing, you are fine. You can tow right up to the limits and it's fine.
Climbing grades, you will drop down a gear or two and the engine will run at a higher RPM but as long as the truck is in proper running condition, this is nothing to be concerned about.
