Check the cargo capacity that is listed on the door sill. It shows load capacity for each axle of YOUR particular truck, not the generic model listed in the brochure. The towing limit is only achievable with a flatbed bumper pull trailer because there is much less weight on the trucks rear axle. A 5th wheel is a whole different animal and how much weight you can carry on the rear axle is what will limit you, not how much the engine can pull.
