2007 Sunnybrook Titan slide issue

Looking at a used Sunnybrook Titan 33ckts. Very nice condition but curbside slide doesn't deploy correctly and leaves a gap at the upper left corner extending down and across about half way on each run. I'm not comfortable with purchasing until I'm sure the problem can be remedied at a reasonable cost.Wondering if anyone has experience with adjustability of these slides. Also, does anyone know who the manufacturer of the slide mechanism is. I think the motor and gears are supplied by Barker Co, but not sure about the rest of the slide mechanism.

Thanks,
Bill
  • Rather than ask on a forum, I would suggest hiring a mobile tech to go with you to take a look at it. He could likely spot the problem, and give you his actual cost to repair. Slides are adjustable, and often easily adjusted by someone used to adjusting them.

Sunnybrook rvs, were generally well built, and if this one is well kept, you could get many years of use from it.

  • Our SB had a slide issue where the front end would seal before the back end by 1/4 inch or so. We put up with it for years and finally had our local dealer adjust it so now it is perfect.

I agree. Here's a group that I've not used, but talked to a couple different inspectors: https://nrvia.org/.

  • Slide adjustment is not rocket science. Many videos on YouTube. Adjustments for left/right, up/down, in/out. If you are somewhat mechanically inclined, one of the easier fixes the owner can do.
