Personally I think your making a big mistake. The truck,which is far more capable than older 1/2 tons is still a light duty truck. And as such has smaller brakes,lighter frame, lighter tires and wheels. 20% of an 11,000 gross weight trailer could load over 2000 pounds directly over the rear axle. I would have serious reservarions putting that much potiential load in the back of your truck.
