Don't understand this....that the Ram uses the Husky 5th wheel hitch...The Ram can use almost any kind or model of hitch.... IF you have the GN/5er prep package, you can get the picture frame adapter and put your existing hitch on it, (most will work, there are a few that won't). IF you DON'T have the GN/5er prep package, then again, you can get just about whatever you want and whomever installs the hitch will have to put the conventional rails in, unless one goes to a GN, or uses a 5er hitch like the Andersen Ultimate 5er hitch, (uses a center drop in ball).
So don't understand exactly what you're getting. This hitch, IF you have the 5er/GN package, HAS to have the picture frame adapter to mount the hitch with...
Again, there are a couple manufacturers, who are in the process of manufacturing their conventional 5th wheel hitch with rails built onto it that WILL fit in the Ram GN/5er hitch prep package....Don't know if on market yet, but thought Curt was one of them and thought Reese was the other.
