So after 3 attempts, the local dealership's service department finally fixed the leaking shower enclosure in my 27dblg (days before I needed the RV for a Labor Day weekend trip). They finally had to take the silicone all off, disassemble the door framing assembly, and re-install the whole door enclosure, sealing it with silicone at each step - the way Eclipse should have done in the first place.
While it was at the dealership, they installed the MaxxAir Maxx Fan deluxe, which works well, and provides great ventilation. I'm tempted to add powered fans to the other 2 roof vents, but we'll see how everything else holds up for now. I also had them wash & UV treat the roof while it was there, since they were going to be up there installing the fan anyway.
When I washed the RV (first time I've done it myself) just the other day, I got up on the roof & used one of those brushes that runs water through the handle to the brush head to rinse while brushing away the grime. I found no leaks in the roof or the new fan, so that's a major bonus for the work done by my local dealership shop. I washed the sides with the brush, then put away the hose & brush. I checked inside to see if any windows had leaked. Found that at least one at the rear leaked a lot, and the window at the head of the front bed leaked a little to allow the sheets, pillow, and mattress to be just a bit damp. With the summer heat & the MaxxAir fan running, I'm not too worried about it being an immediate problem, but again, this is truly the bane of my experience with this Eclipse RV - water leak problems.
I wish I could find someone in the industry who has figured out that they could make a great deal of money doing custom work for RV owners who have both these problems and modifications not offered by the manufacturers. Heck, if I could have bought my RV through a "bespoke" or custom shop that promised to deliver the RV 100% problem-free with whatever mods I wanted that the mfgr wouldn't provide or offer, I'd have paid a little more for the absence of headache & all the time I've spent towing my "new" RV back & forth to the shop for warranty work. Anyone know of a business like this?
