2015 Sandsport 26fbsl

Question

A friend just picked up a new Sandsport 26fsbl Toy  Hauler.  The salesman  told him he could  connect outside satellite to the outside park cable as long as the inside cable power switch was turned on?  I was under the impression that this was not possibe UNLESS the new traiers come wired differently than mine  that is about 3 years old now..

The cable in ours was not HD so we had to run better cable for our DTV Gennie system to work properly, not sure if your buddys hauler is affected seeings how its so new.

I have to have my antenna booster power (green light) turned off when connecting the satellite to cable input.

2112 do you know if your rig is wired special to allow you to connect Sat to outside cable though the Cable Booster switch?  From everything I have read in the past it was not possible to run Sat through the Booster?
