Heat and cold could be contributors but at the end of the day it's cheap materials. There was a time period where certain furniture manufacturers (probably Lippert who produces just about everything RV) produced really cheap vinyl furniture and they all peeled. And Brand of RV didn't matter much because they all order from the same furniture manufacturers. Pick a floorplan you like and inspect the furniture. If it's not peeling, it was either replaced, reupholstered or it wasn't a cheap batch. That would be the least of my worries. Find a unit you like and is in good shape and if you have to cover or replace the furniture, discount that on your offer and pick furniture you want or have it reupholstered. Replacing RV furniture is not hard. And get an independent inspection from a certified RV inspector on any RV you are serious about buying unless you are savvy and versed in Rvs enough yourself to do a thorough inspection.
