2016 Wildcat #242RLX

Looking at new 2016 5th wheel Wild Cat made by Forest River. Would appreciate any comments on this rig. Was told axel on some Forest River products were undersized causing serious sway and wear on wheels. Drove a Hitchhiker for years Canada to Guatemala and never had problems....wondered about any problems others may have had with Wildcat or other Forest River products. Sales quoted 32,000 for new one.

    Undersized axles will not cause sway, they will just bend and put the wheels out of alignment. Doubtful if the axles are too light. Look underneath for the tag on the axle and see what size it is. Wildcat is a lower priced weekend type unit and it will be a far cry from your Hitchiker in build quality. Your best price should be 30-35% below the list price.
