A 3500 was my first choice, but payload was triple my needs. By going with 2500 and air bags if I need, I can stay with the coil suspension of 2500 which will be better when off road with the truck. The 3500 is a one ton and tho drives quite well on pavement unloaded, it does have stiff leaves. I'm visiting the RV mfg to get their input too
