2nd battery install
I'd like to install a 2nd battery for weekends with no electric hook ups.. can anyone recommend a battery or type of battery to hookup. 12 volt...

Often times it's recommended that 12 volt batteries be of the same age & group size when connecting in parallel. If that's what you intended, maybe re-think it.
If you don't already have a battery disconnect switch installed, now is a good time.
Get a Blue Seas switch # 6007. This will allow you to switch between two different batteries without power interruption. It has switch positions, Bat #1, Bat #2 & Bat #1+2
With that, you can purchase any group size 12 volt battery of your choice as your second battery.
