I can appreciate the difficulty of crawling up into a high clearance vehicle, but the first time you can't move because of a slick surface you'll wish you had gone with the 4wd. Be sure to get some kind of running board on it to help you get in the vehicle. Heck, make hubby deal with a little plastic step if the running board is still too high.
