I have always bought 4WD. I have needed it on several occasions, both with and without the 5th wheel. As noted before, you won't use it 99% of the time, but when your loaded, stuck in the mud, and looking for a tow truck, it suddenly becomes worth every penny plus saves a ton of stress.
