First of all as a guy, I just wanted 4x4 when we went shopping for a new truck. I had always wanted one and finally we were at a point where we could afford it.
I am so glad that we did. This past winter we had some significant ice storms here in North Texas. We used the 4x4 when we needed to go to the hospital for our grandson's surgery. Could not have gotten there in our old 2WD truck.
I could probably live my life without 4WD, but it definitely is fun to have and helpful at times.
