Here is my logic.
I remember several years ago traveling with the family in the mini-van. I came upon a national park road that limited traffic to four wheel drive vehicles.
When I bought my rig, I decided that I did not want to travel thousands of miles to see the sights, only to be stopped because I didn't spend a few extra dollars on 4WD.
I haven't needed it often, but when I did, I am glad I had it.
