We recently got what you see below. It is a 4X4. I am pushing 67 years old and have owned a number of trucks. It is the first four wheel drive I have ever owned. The one and only reason I ordered it as a 4X4 was simply economics. I had a 2012 GMC 3500 single rear wheel, two wheel drive Denali diesel that I ordered also. There were no two wheel drives to be found in our area is the reason I ordered it. When I decided to trade up to the dually the NADA value for it was $4400 less than a 4X4 but when I ordered the 2012 the cost difference was $3000 between the 4X4 and my 4X2. I lost $1400 right there plus took another $2500 hit on trade in value from the dealer because he was afraid he would never be able to sell it. Fortunately for me I got lucky and sold it on my own to the one and only fellow in this area who didn't care and avoided that $2500 hit.
So now that I finally have a 4X4 I actually hope to use it someday.
