4wd reduces your cargo and towing capacity, but if he needs it he needs it. Pleasnty of reasons why it may be needed and alos plenty of reasons that it would just be good to have or nice to have.
Well far better than a 4X2 with limited slip is a 4x4 with limited slip! :B
