I politely disagree. We NEVER take our TT off road, and yet towing or not towing, I have had regular occasions when if I did not have 4WD, it would have been very inconvenient.
Been towing for 39 years, and camping for 30+. In all kinds of campgrounds, hilly, flat, paved, muddy, sandy, from the beach to the mountains. Had several 4x4 vehicles. Cause I wanted them. NEVER needed 4x4 to tow. So when I go to buy a truck. I don't care one way or the other. 4x4 or not. Makes no difference to me.
I'm still amazed at the getting stuck on level ground in wet grass stories. How do people do that?
