I just bought one and didn't know if I really needed it, but a few things that pushed me to it.
-The urban cowboys do need the "cool", and that keeps used prices strong. So, I figured getting it for insurance alone would come back on resale.
-We plan trips out west and it will allow for off road exploration
-We have already enjoyed some NFS roads locally and have had a blast. The prettiest spot we've ever seen near home was available to us because of 4x4. Been here 14 years and have never seen this.
