We run our rig on 30 most of the time mainly because the 30a cord is easier to manage and there's only 1AC unit but, if the coffee pot, H/W heater and microwave are called to action at the same time, we trip the breaker. Using the 50a solves that and avoids the potential of low voltage to the AC which could be a bigger problem.
