30 or 50 AMP surge protector
If we sometimes use 30 AMP and other times 50 AMP campsites, what surge protector do we need to get? We don't need to buy both a 30 and a 50 AMP do we?

You can always use a 50 amp EMS with 30 amp service, but you can't go the other way. I'd get a 50 amp EMS and call it good. I had 2 SurgeGuard and had both of them fail due to water intrusion. The new ones look different and may work better but I wouldn't trust them. I'd go with the EMS-PT50X.
