I would take your 30X40 and make it 25X45 or something like that. It will allow you to put the slides out when loading and also get store or get something by the RV if need be. Mine is 18X40 which was good for my fifthwheel but when I sized-up, it became a squeeze when we went with a 40' motorhome..
