3rd AC

If the RV is not designed and set up for the 3rd AC including ducts and electrical then it could be a big job.

Is the RV 50A? Bigger ACs, window AC, mini split?

I have the same issue with 2 AC's not doing the job. I use a free standing fan in the living room and am thinking about trying one of the free standing AC units that I see advertised for around $450.

Lou D, if not set up for a 3rd A/C, ducting and wiring will be an issue.

Electrical supply would be your achilles heal. You would need to run another 20A supply form the 110V distribution panel to the AC.

You say new rv. Are you new to rving?
There are some things you can do that can help.
Are you in full sun? Even partial shade will make a difference, See if you can move to a shaded site.
Insulate your roof vents and skylights. Use of pillows for the 14 x 14 vent openings as well as the 14x22 in most showers help vent pillows
Situate your rv so the west side exposure is the passenger side so your awning will shade the side toward the sun in the afternoon.
These are quick items that may help, otherwise, do what rv'ers do. Go north and up in the summer months, go back to Texas in the winter.

If you’re parking in direct sun, even with three it may not be enough. Wanderingaimlessly has good advice. Also any windows that have direct sunlight should be covered with Reflectix insulating material. If added some to any cabinet attached to an outside wall.

Do you have Maxxair (or other) covers over the roof vents?

We have a portable 14000 inverter LG in our condo master bedroom ,280 sq ft.IT is very quiet and will freeze you out in a matter of minutes.IT would be a simple install and would be my choice at 650$. in Canada.
ON our 40 ft Landmark i played with the ducting to push more air to the Living area and closed the door to the upper level,stayed decent at 100 degrees

So blocking some vents in the bedroom made the living space bearable?

Going to answer several questions at once. I finally figured out how to add a signature line, hopefull that will show up soon. But in case...it's a 2021 Dutchmen Yukon 42ft 5th wheel with rear living room. We've been full timing for 6 years now, have survived 2 winters in a rig in MT, but haven't had to deal with a TX summer until now. We can't go North as we came to Houston to get cancer treatments for my wife. We have 2 oscilatting fans going, and a Dyson fan in addition to the two AC's. The park we're in temporarily here in Houston has zero mature trees, our next destination in the RGV has one mature tree that will be on the south side of our rig. We're considering the screen material that we've seen people have attached over their windows on the outside (snaps on). Because we're from Montana, we LOVE the outdoors, have considered using "reflective" but you can't see out and it's not recommended for our windows (don't know why, just what the product says). We are wired for a 3rd AC and there is a ceiling vent (that we can't reach anyway) that it would replace. I did put vent covers over the 3 ceiling vents.
