Did some work with a spread sheet.
RPMs in each gear. 60 mph is not possible in gear 1 and 2 with all rear gears.

It looks to me like the best fit for the 6.7 Cummins with the Aisin 6 speed is the 3.42 gear when towing at 60mph. Even the 3.73 looks better than the 4.1
You just have to run one gear down from the 4.1 with the 3.42. That is the whole purpose of a transmission.
When down one gear the 3.42 can put more horsepower to the road than the 4.1.
Now some will say they need the 4.1 in first gear.
But I am sure even with the 6.7 cummins and Aisin transmission enough torque can be put down to tear the tires off of the wheel rims.
